the Water Environment Federation and the National Wastewater Surveillance
System's California Center of Excellence at a free one-day workshop focused on
wastewater surveillance program sustainability and practical stakeholder
communication tools.
Wastewater Utility and
Program Sustainability
Explore and brainstorm solutions to sustain wastewater surveillance monitoring,
as well as ways to support participation of wastewater utilities.
Strategic
Communication for Stakeholder Engagement
Identify and learn practical communication tools to improve stakeholder
engagement and strengthen buy-in for wastewater surveillance programs through
data interpretation and communication.
Networking and Idea
Exchange
Provide a platform for wastewater and public health community members to meet,
share insights, and collaborate.

The workshop will include panel discussions from leading experts and breakout
sessions designed to
define the needs and challenges for wastewater monitoring program
sustainability and stakeholder
engagement. Attendees will represent public health and wastewater organizations
across the California CoE's region. This is an opportunity to connect with
other professionals and gain valuable insights in this evolving field.
